In 2014 EXCO CACOGES, a Kreston member firm in Congo, was appointed by the Department of Finance and Budget to carry out an audit of the customs and goods clearance process.

The Government department wished to improve the process and efficiency of tax and customs administration, to ensure they were achieving value for money and good service on behalf of the Government and the people of Congo.

The appointment was for 2 years. Subsequent work has been undertaken for other Government departments as a result.
