The agenda for Kreston’s 20th Latin America Conference in Costa Rica included discussions across a broad range of issues impacting on the profession today and “Tomorrow’s Practice”.
Audit quality and ethics, changes to international tax and transparency, transfer pricing and improving the targeting and delivery of international proposals to prospects identified as being suitable to benefit from Kreston’s seamless transnational services delivery.

Undoubtedly the topic which created the most lively debate was the debate led by Spanish member, Iberaudit Kreston “If you are not in social media – you don’t exist”. The proposal enthusiastically accepted by all supported the greater use of all mediums to raise Kreston’s profile and deliver key topical topics to the market place.

40 delegates from 19 countries in Latin America participated over the 3 day event.

Ricardo Paolina, Kreston’s Regional Director said “once again this was an outstanding event, with active participation by our Regional Partners. We have a programme of continued recruitment in place which will see a strengthening of our capability and geographical coverage across all major markets”

Kreston CEO, Jon Lisby commented:

“Whilst a number of the economies in Latin America are currently facing economic challenge, we see continued opportunities for inbound investment and our member firms are well placed to deliver the complete range of compliance and advisory services”
