Kreston Japan firms start New Year with merger.

Kreston International, the global network of independent accounting firms has announced the merger of Meiji Audit Corporation and Ark Audit Company, two of its member firms based in Tokyo. Now with 26 Partners, the amalgamated practice is now known as Ark Meiji Audit & Co (AMA).

Jon Lisby, Kreston CEO, said:

““We are delighted with this merger which further raises the Kreston profile in the Asia Pacific region and secures our place in the top 10 of global networks in Japan”.

AMA will be headed up by Chairman, Atsushi Sasayama and CEO, Akihiko Miura with both commenting that:

As AMA we look forward to building the profile of Kreston Japan within the Asia Pacific region”.
