Kreston China continues its strategy of growth at 2018 regional conference.

Kreston’s China conference took place at The Crowne Plaza Chengdu City Centre Hotel in Chengdu, the capital of China’s Sichuan province, attracting 73 delegates, including 9 from outside of the region.

The 4-day event commenced on 5th September with a welcome and networking dinner and after introductions from Chairman Xiao and Partner, Yin Wang, from host firm Huapu Tianjian CPAs LLP, Kreston Asia Pacific Regional Secretary Edmond Chan presented an International Office update which included a welcome message by video link from Kreston’s new CEO, Liza Robbins.

Jungiao Yin, Partner of Hunan Jianye CPA’s, a member admitted this year, gave an overview of the firm; Alan Ling from McLean Delmo Bentleys in Australia discussed investment strategies and Tiffany Chiu from Kreston Reeves in the UK presented on Brexit and its implications.

Key Note was Dr Lei Zhou, Managing Director of Shanghai Dragonboat Investment Management Limited who presented “Belt and Road Initiative, Challenge and Opportunity” an interesting insight into the challenges and opportunities of the Chinese development strategy.

The business sessions concluded with individual breakout groups where delegates discussed Managing Partner; Audit, Tax, Valuation and Construction Engineering issues.
