Kreston Global continues strong growth with three new member firms

February 15, 2022

LONDON – Kreston Global has further consolidated its recent growth with the arrival of three new member firms: Johar and Partners, based in Kuwait; Alfaro y Asociados, based in Honduras, and Proworks Group, based in Japan. This brings the total number of new joiners in recent months to six, following the arrival of member firms in Bahrain, Germany and The Bahamas in late 2021.

Johar and Partners specialises in providing audit and assurance, financial advisory, accounting, risk, tax and zakat and bookkeeping services to businesses operating across the Middle East. Johar and Partners was founded in 2011 by Managing Partner Abdullatif Johar, and comprises two partners, 17 other fee-earners and three administrative staff.

Alfaro y Asociados is one of the leading accountancy firms in Honduras. It specialises in providing audit and accountancy, corporate finance and tax services to domestic and international businesses in the country. Founded in 1985 by current Managing Partner Juan Angel Alfaro, it consists of three partners and 20 other fee-earners.

Proworks Group was founded in 2007 by CEO and President Marek Lehocky. Based in Tokyo, Proworks specialises in providing inbound market entry services including accounting and tax, HR, and payroll & benefits to international businesses in a range of sectors. It has six partners and 44 other staff.

2021 saw the Kreston Global network celebrating its 50th anniversary as well as undergoing its own rebrand.

Liza Robbins, Chief Executive of Kreston Global, said:

“These three firms bring their own skills and insights to the table but, vitally, they share our core values of ambition and entrepreneurialism. The last 12 months have been a time of significant development for us as a network and we are now seeing dividends as we move into a new, exciting phase of growth. This is a fantastic start to 2022, and we look forward to working closely alongside our new colleagues as they expand their international connections.”

Juan Angel Alfaro, Managing Partner at Alfaro y Asociados, said:

“Kreston Global is a major player in the international accountancy space and we have been consistently impressed by their dynamic and collaborative ethos. My colleagues and I are excited to be partnering with the Kreston Global

community, both to further the ambitions of our domestic clients looking to overseas markets, and to support international businesses doing business in Honduras.”

Abdullatif Johar, Managing Partner at Johar and Partners, said:

“Kreston Global stood out amongst potential partners as we move into the next stage of our development. We were struck by the advanced technological platforms and resources underpinning Kreston’s global community, but also by the culture of empowering member firms to determine their own path. We will be working with our new colleagues to build opportunities in the region and beyond for our clients.”

Marek Lehocky, CEO and President, Proworks, said:

“At Proworks we look for dynamism and forward-thinking in all our collaborators, and Kreston Global’s credentials speak for themselves. We were particularly drawn to their emphasis on continuous development and innovation. We have strong links in a number of Kreston Global key markets and are already working with our new colleagues to expand our offering on the international business stage.”
