IBERAUDIT Kreston, Kreston’s member network with over 400 professionals in offices across Spain, Portugal and Andorra held its 2015 national conference in Bilbao

Chaired by Mercè Martí Queralt, CEO at IBERAUDIT Kreston, the event was attended by over 70 of IBERAUDIT Kreston’s partners and managers. Kreston’s CEO Jon Lisby and Chairman, Franck Parker were also at the event.

The conference was opened by host Juan Luis Gomeza, Vice-president at IBERAUDIT Kreston and partner at the Bilbao office and Mercè Martí, Chairwoman and CEO at IBERAUDIT Kreston then presented on current and projected performance and the continued success of the network’s strategy.

Mercè also stressed the commitment of the firm to continue to build important relationships within the global membership and congratulated IBERAUDIT Kreston partner, Elena Ramírez, on her re-election onto the Kreston Board.

Kreston International’s CEO Jon Lisby, who presented on Kreston global strategy, also spoke of the strong recovery in the Spanish economy and the top issues facing accounting firms globally, including succession planning, staff recruitment and retention; new technologies and the expansion of client service offerings.

The second day’s plenary sessions included presentations by Franck Parker, CEO of Exco France and Chairman of Kreston International and Darío Zamorano, partner at Kreston BSG from Puebla, Mexico.
