Kreston International Head Office is looking to add to their efficient and proactive team by recruiting a Communications Assistant to provide support to the Communications Manager and Executive Director and who will deputise for the Communications Manager when required. The position will be based in Chelmsford, UK
Duties to include:
Backup and support for several regional and one world conference per year to include hotel bookings and delegate registrations, sourcing suppliers and preparing associated documentation.
Liaising with international members across the globe via all communication medium and to deal with all member enquiries both professionally and efficiently.
To work on the Kreston International internal Portal under guidance from the Communications Manager and Member Services Team.
To work on the internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) Programme, providing updates and running reports under guidance from the Member Services Team.
To produce high quality written documentation of various types including reports and presentations.
On occasion, to make hotel and travel arrangements for members of the team
On occasion to organise Kreston Board Director conference calls
Possible International Travel
To deputise and cover the office on occasion on behalf of the Communications Manager
Excellent Communication skills and command of the English language
Strong administrative skills
Willingness to learn and can hit the ground running
Excellent IT capabilities
Good attention to detail
Works well under pressure
Able to work on own in office on occasion for long periods of time.
Experience of working with events and conferences.
Professional services industry background
Marketing and/or PR experience
Understanding of global cultural differences
Database management experience
Intranet design skills
This is a full time role with scope for development for the right individual
