Collaboration and Business Development in India’s Silicon Valley.

The Kreston Asia Pacific Conference “Disha”, meaning “Direction” was held in India’s third largest city, Bangalore. An initiative of the firms of Kreston India, the event was superbly hosted by Ganesh Ramaswamy and his team at Rangamani & Co.

The varied agenda included an understanding of the development of the rise of Bangalore’s SME sector followed by a programme of networking meetings designed to strengthen relationships and identify business development opportunities for Kreston members in the Asia Pacific Region. Delegates were also given an insight into India’s traditions and culture and included presentations on classical dance, meditation and stress management.

Jon Lisby, Kreston CEO, comments:

“This was an exceptional event which provided outstanding opportunities for networking between Kreston member firms and business development within the network. Our thanks go to Kreston Rangamani for the tremendous effort made in producing such a memorable and lively conference. It was rewarding to see representatives from 20 countries in attendance – with 5 of those countries being from outside of the Asia Pacific Region demonstrating the benefit of meeting with Kreston members face to face to explore and secure additional business opportunities.”

The social agenda included the first ever Kreston International Cricket Tournament, where after an afternoon of fierce competition, Kreston Chairman, Franck Parker from Exco France, captained his team in a tense final to secure victory.
