Building Kreston in China

Over the past 10 years, Kreston International  has built a strong network in Mainland China with 9 member firms in 30 locations and over 1,700 professional and support staff. The Kreston China network is now ranked 9th by the International Accounting Bulletin. The size, growth and potential of China demands a continuing programme of recruitment to ensure extended geographical coverage and a complete service line offering in all key cities.

During a recent recruitment visit, Edmond Chan, Kreston’s Asia Pacific Regional Secretary and Jon Lisby, Kreston’s Executive Director, were invited to meet again with Dr Chen, the Secretary General of the Chinese Institute of CPAs to provide an update on the development of Kreston in China.

Jon said “the CICPA has proved extremely supportive and is very keen for the larger Chinese firms to join international networks to help support both inward and outbound investment. Kreston is also grateful for the assistance provided by the Beijing office of Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.

Joyce Chao, Chief Representative – ICAEW China also attended the meeting.
