Further growth for Reeves+Neylan

Congratulations to UK member firm, Reeves+Neylan, which has acquired the specialist Corporate Recovery office of Smith & Williamson.

Clive Stevens, Managing Partner of Reeves+Neylan and Chairman of Kreston comments:

“This is a fantastic coup for Reeves+Neylan as it brings valuable new skills into our practice. In particular it will enable us to deliver specialist Corporate Turnaround services to any of our clients who may be struggling in these challenging financial times. Our goal is to enable profitable enterprises to survive”.

A staff of 7, plus two experienced consultants, will relocate from the former Smith & Williamson offices in Kent to join 60 Reeves+Neylan staff and partners in their Chatham Maritime offices. Licensed Insolvency Practitioner Steve Tancock will become a Partner within Reeves+Neylan and Mike Collins and David Nutting will support Steve with the Turnaround services.

The move was part of a strategic change for Smith & Williamson who decided to consolidate the delivery of their restructuring and recovery services into their main commercial centres. The addition of this division is evidence of the continuing growth of Reeves+Neylan, who only last week were voted the UK’s top large Accountancy Practice at the Accountancy Age Awards 2009.
