Kreston UK and Ireland meet in historical Worcester

The 2012 Kreston UK and Ireland Conference was superbly hosted in Worcester by Kreston Member Bishop Fleming Rabjohns.

76 representatives from 13 firms, including new UK members, Duncan & Topliss and Barber Harrison & Platt, attended in the historical city.

The Conference was opened by Kreston UK Chairman and Bishop Fleming Managing Partner Matt Lee together with Worcester Partner Ian Smith. Kreston CEO, Jon Lisby and Andrew Collier, Director of Quality and Professional Standards provided an update on global developments and the focus on quality in the network before delegates divided into a range of workshop groups. This proved an excellent opportunity for each of the Kreston UK Special Interest Groups to develop agreed action plans for the coming year.

Matt Lee, Kreston’s UK chairman said:
“We were delighted to greet new members Duncan and Toplis to the conference. The UK group now has combined revenues in excess of US$139m and increase of 32% and confirming its position as a significant force in the UK. The members of the special interest groups all felt that they had gained significant benefit from the conference and the teambuilding opportunities that it created, and are looking to continue to meet on a six monthly basis.”

Jon Lisby, Kreston International CEO said – “the aggregate strength and capability of the UK and Ireland group is impressive and the strategies discussed over the Conference period were directed at raising the Kreston profile and attracting an increased flow of quality assignments”
