Kreston BSG has been recognised as a Notable Firm in the ITR World Tax 2026 ranking for General Corporate Tax in Mexico, reinforcing its reputation as a leading tax advisory firm and marking another milestone following its 15th Annual Meeting.

The ranking places Kreston BSG among a select group of consulting firms in Mexico acknowledged by the internationally respected International Tax Review (ITR) World Tax directory, which evaluates tax advisory firms across more than 100 jurisdictions worldwide.

Being listed as a Notable Firm recognises the strength and consistency of the firm’s corporate tax practice and highlights the technical capability of its team in delivering strategic tax advice to both national and international companies.

Global recognition for corporate tax expertise

ITR World Tax is widely regarded as a global benchmark for identifying leading tax advisory firms. Its rankings are based on a rigorous independent research process that includes interviews with practitioners, analysis of representative cases, market reputation, and feedback from clients and industry peers.

Firms are assessed on several key criteria, including:

  • Technical expertise and the complexity of matters handled
  • Quality and relevance of representative cases
  • Market reputation and peer recognition
  • Client feedback
  • Innovation and strategic approach within tax practice

Achieving the Notable Firm classification reflects international recognition of Kreston BSG’s corporate tax capabilities and confirms its ability to manage complex tax matters while maintaining high professional standards.

Strategic vision reinforced at 15th Annual Meeting

The recognition follows Kreston BSG’s 15th Annual Meeting, held on 22–23 January at the Marriott Reforma Hotel, where more than 80 partners and leaders from offices across Mexico gathered to review performance and define the firm’s strategic direction.

During the two-day meeting, participants reviewed national financial results, office performance and the progress of the firm’s Strategic Plan 2024–2028, reaffirming a commitment to sustainable growth, technical excellence and high-quality client service.

Key strategic themes discussed included:

  • Governance and institutional structure, strengthening the firm’s long-term stability
  • Commercial strategy and market positioning, focused on specialisation and structured growth
  • Technological innovation and information security, supporting operational efficiency
  • Talent management and organisational culture, promoting professional development and employee wellbeing

The meeting also featured a keynote address titled “Revolution of Freedom” by historian and author Juan Miguel Zunzunegui, encouraging reflection on leadership, context and long-term vision.

Alongside plenary discussions, specialised sessions by service area encouraged collaboration across offices and the exchange of best practices, supporting stronger alignment across the firm nationally.
