About Adriana Vargas Rosales
Adriana Vargas Rosales is a Partner at AUDYCON CR and serves as Senior Employment Attorney and HR Specialist at Kreston Costa Rica. She also leading the HR Advisory Services division of the Global Advisory Services and is a member of the HR & People Expert Network group. Adriana is an Attorney at Law and Notary Public with over 13 years of experience in employment law, human resources, and general legal advisory. She has in-depth knowledge of Costa Rican labor regulations, compliance, and policy implementation, and also works across corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, and legal consulting.
She is known for her collaborative approach and clear communication, combining legal expertise with a practical understanding of business needs. She continues to expand her skills, with a particular focus on intellectual property and brand law.
Education & qualifications
Adriana holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources from Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED), where she also completed a diploma in Business Administration. She earned her Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica and completed additional specializations in Notarial Law at Universidad de La Salle, Labor Law at the University of Costa Rica, and Tax Law at Universidad Fundepos Alma Mater & FAYCATAX. Her academic background supports her ability to advise across both legal and business contexts.
Experience
As a Partner at AUDYCON CR, Adriana provides legal and notarial services in employment, commercial, corporate, and intellectual property law. Since 2023, she has also worked with Kreston Costa Rica, advising on employment contracts, HR policies, labor relations, and compliance.
She previously led the employment law department at Rightway Estudio Legal, served as in-house counsel for Grupo Electrotécnica in Costa Rica and El Salvador, and worked as a legal assistant at Bufete Salvatierra y Vargas.
Adriana is also involved in legal education. She teaches Notarial and Labor Law at Universidad Escuela Libre de Derecho and previously lectured on labor legislation at ULACIT. She contributes to Click Legal® and is an active member of BNI Costa Rica’s Impacta chapter, where she served as secretary-treasurer.
She is fluent in Spanish and has advanced proficiency in English, supporting her work with diverse clients in both legal and academic settings.
