Gary Klintworth

Gary Klintworth is a seasoned financial executive with over 25 years of experience in industry, accounting, consulting and business development. In his current role as Senior Managing Director and Co-Leader of the CBIZ ARC Consulting, LLC practice, Gary manages several engagement teams and acts as a technical resource and a strategic advisor to executive management of several start-up, middle market, high-growth and pre-IPO companies. Gary has deep technical knowledge and experience in the enterprise software, hardware, SAAS, online media, biotech, professional services and manufacturing industries.
Gary works closely with public and private companies on various projects, including the evaluation of complex debt and equity arrangements, revenue recognition, acquisitions, external audit preparation, financial statement drafting / SEC reporting, business process analysis and systems setup and other technical accounting requirements.
Gary’s goal is to efficiently deliver high-value, project-based business, accounting and financial consulting services to clients while implementing policies and procedures to allow for transition to the current and future infrastructure. By doing this, clients have access to timely financial information for making decisions and can focus on the delivery and execution of the current business model.
Prior to co-founding ARC Consulting LLC (sold to CBIZ, Inc. in 2020), Gary was the Corporate Controller for Plumtree Software, Inc. where he managed the worldwide accounting group prior to being acquired by BEA Systems, Inc. in October 2005. Before that, he was an audit and business consulting senior manager at Grant Thornton LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.
