Leknor Joni is a Partner at Kreston Indonesia and an experienced audit and assurance professional. He has built a strong career across a wide range of industries, including construction, real estate, logistics, shipping, mining, manufacturing, financial services, and non-profit organisations.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Accountant in Indonesia, and a member of the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI). His expertise includes financial audits, due diligence, and advisory support for complex corporate transactions.

Education & qualifications

Leknor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting, from Universitas Andalas. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from Universitas Gajah Mada.

Experience

Prior to joining Kreston Indonesia, Leknor worked with RSM Indonesia and Prasetio Utomo & Co. (formerly Arthur Andersen).

He has nearly 15 years of experience in audit and assurance, including financial audits, IPO-related engagements, and attestation services for mergers, acquisitions, and funding activities. He is familiar with IFRS implementation and regulatory requirements, including international offering standards such as Rule 144A and Regulation S, as well as local OJK regulations.

In addition to external audit, he has led internal audit functions, strengthening internal controls and improving operational efficiency within organisations. His combined experience in both internal and external audit enables him to deliver practical, value-added insights to clients.
