Kreston Lentink acquires HLB Amsterdam
December 18, 2024
Kreston Lentink has acquired HLB Amsterdam, establishing a physical office in the capital of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, within the Kreston network. Operations from Amsterdam will be carried out under the name Kreston Lentink Amsterdam.
With great pride and enthusiasm, Kreston Lentink and HLB Amsterdam announce that they are joining forces. In recent years, Private Equity has played an increasingly important role in driving growth and mergers of offices. However, with this strategic acquisition, both parties have deliberately chosen not to follow that route. They believe that, without private equity involvement, the cultural values and focus on people can be best preserved. The acquisition marks an important strategic step in the continued growth and development of both organisations. After the acquisition, the result will be a full-service office with approximately 130 professionals.
Comments from the management
Juanita Cid, partner at Kreston Lentink, says: “This collaboration is a milestone in our history. For years, we had the ambition to expand to Amsterdam, and now it’s a reality. By joining forces with HLB Amsterdam, we significantly expand our geographical reach and strengthen our position in the labor market with the addition of an office in Amsterdam. This also highlights our ambition as an international firm within the Kreston network.”
Hans Barneveld, partner at HLB Amsterdam, adds: “We are excited to be part of the Kreston Lentink organisation. Our shared vision, culture, and core values make this collaboration a logical step. The international Kreston network and the full-service offerings of the Kreston Lentink organisation are of strategic importance and will allow us to better serve our clients and continue to be an attractive employer.”
