About João Lopes da Silva

João Lopes da Silva is Vice President of Kreston Iberaudit and Managing Partner at the Kreston Iberaudit offices in Oporto and Lisbon. With 29 years of professional experience, his expertise lies in auditing, tax planning, and consultancy.

Education & qualifications

João graduated in Administration and Finance from the Instituto Superior de Gestão in 1989. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, recognised by the Order of Auditors.

Experience

João began his career at KPMG in 1990 and later became a partner at Moore Stephens, where he worked for 13 years. He is currently responsible for the statutory audit of several large companies and leads the tax advisory department. In addition, João serves as Sole Auditor, a member of the Supervisory Board, and an external auditor for significant commercial and industrial companies across various sectors. He has also been responsible for auditing “Public Companies,” venture capital firms, and fund management companies in line with the Securities Code.
