Kreston Asia Pacific Conference attracts delegates from 16 countries

The 2014 Kreston Asia Pacific Conference was held in Singapore over 3-6 July and was superbly hosted by Kreston David Yeung PAC

The Conference focused on the Singapore tax structures, opportunities for clients in Singapore and on improving the conversion rates for attracting multinational opportunities to the Kreston network.

Rich Howard, West Region Attest Practice Leader for Mayer Hoffman McCann, reviewed the process of successful recent tendering between Asia and the USA.

Among the guest speakers, Lee Fook Chiew, CEO of Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants outlined the strategy for supporting the future needs of clients across the region.

Kreston CEO, Jon Lisby, spoke on the global profession and the impact on international business with the shift East and South as the emerging economies step up to take the lead roles.

The Conference concluded with a lively and entertaining presentation on Sun Tzu Art of War for Business delivered by author, Khoo Kheng Hor.

The social programme afforded delegates an opportunity to experience the vibrant City of Singapore and enjoy its varied cuisine – including the renowned Chilli and Peppered Crab.
