Kreston donates 1,500 mosquito nets to JCI/UN project
The 40th Kreston International World Conference in Budapest supported the JCI Nothing but Nets Project by donating 1,500 long lasting insecticidal mosquito nets to its joint program with the United Nations Foundation to help fight malaria in Sub Saharan Africa.
Kreston’s CEO, Jon Lisby said – “JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a remarkable global organisation networking over 200,000 like minded young people looking to create positive change in the community. The JCI Budapest to Bamako Nothing but Nets Rally is an exceptional event – every bednet contributed may save the life of a child”.
The Conference attended by over 220 drawn from 37 countries focused on business development and growth with presentations from Gale Crosley CPA, founder of Crosley & Co and Graham Durgan of Emile Woolf International. The varied programme also included a reviewed the advantages of Cloud Computing and anticipated developments in audit regulation.
The Kreston Annual Awards Ceremony and 40th birthday celebratory dinner at the world famous Gundel restaurant was the highlight of the social programme.
